Made these Jeera bun to go with our Bombay style pav bhaji and we loved it.
You will need:-Makes 12 rolls
-
- Strong White bread flour 11/4 cups
- 2 tablespoon Cumin seeds
- Strong dry yeast 11/2 tsp
- Salt 11/2 tsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Skimmed milk powder 1 tbsp
- Water 11/4 cups
- Butter(melted)
Method:-
I used my bread maker to make a dough.
When the dough is ready need the dough again on a lightly floured surface. Preheat oven to gas mark 5. Divide into 12 equal pieces(which i didn't) and shape each into a ball.
Place on a well greased baking tray, brush lightly with melted butter.
Let stand for 20-25 minutes or until double in size. Bake them for 15-20 minutes.
