Easter is Coming ...

Sounds like the Game of Thrones meme but not as ominous as it's the title for the new DegustaBox for February 2020!

With Christmas and New Year out of the way, we pave the path for Easter and that is what DegustaBox is all about this month. Let's see what they have in store for us ...

Trek Protein Flapjack Cocoa Oat £2.50

Trek Protein flapjacks are vegan and made with gluten-free oats. Golden oats are topped with melted dark cocoa and also contain 9 grams of protein!

KITKAT Milk Chocolate Easter Bunny 29 g £0.69

What better way to celebrate Easter than with British favourite KitKat milk chocolate easter bunnies. The all-new bunnies have milk chocolate shells with the well-known wafer and rich chocolate filling. The bunnies are gluten-free and contain no artificial colours, preservatives or flavours.

Galaxy Vegan Bar £3

Galaxy has recently released vegan alternatives of its chocolate slabs. The vegan recipe uses hazelnut paste to create the same smooth creaminess that is known from Galaxy. We received flavours in Caramelised Hazelnut, Caramel & Sea Salt and Smooth Orange. Customers should receive 1 of 3 flavours in their box.

Livia's Salted Caramel Millionnaire Squares £1.50

These all-natural Salted Caramel Millionnaire Squares are made with gooey date caramel between a layer of raw dark chocolate and an oaty base. These treats are vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free.

Jacked Foods Jackfruit Chunks £1.89

These packets of vitamin and mineral-packed dried jackfruit have a soft, chewy texture and a naturally sweet flavour that resembles dried mango. We also received ndizi banana chunks to try.

My Sweet Chickpea £1.25

This is an entirely new idea to me! Roasted chickpeas are covered in dark chocolate. The chickpeas are packed with protein and fibre and with less fat than eating chocolate or nuts.

Very Lazy Slow Cooker Pots £1.99 each

These are great for anyone who owns a slow cooker but hasn't found any inspiration to kick-start its use. We received the flavours Smoky Spanish Stew and Harissa Tagine. Each flavour comes with two recipes - meat and meat-free and requires few ingredients for a meal. They also work great in the oven.

Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard £1.50

Grey Poupon is a delicious premium brand of French Dijon and Wholegrain mustard. The dijon mustard has been made the traditional French way since 1777, with a white wine base.

Lost Coast Fruit Spritzer + ACV £2.49

Lost Coast offers a range of spritzer flavours. This revitalising drink blends sparkling water, unique botanicals and Apple Cider Vinegar. ACV is a natural remedy that is great for gut health. The drinks are low in sugar and calories and come in three flavours. We received mango, turmeric and ginger.

Shaken Udders Milkshakes £1.40

These low sugar milkshakes are made with either real fruit or Belgian chocolate and fresh British milk. They contain no artificial colours or flavours and are gluten-free and suitable for vegetarians.

Heinz Paw Patrol & Disney Frozen No Added Sugar Pasta Shapes £0.55 each

These new pasta shapes feature Disney's Frozen and Paw Patrol characters in a rich tomato sauce. They are now with no added sugar!

We also received Mug Shot High Protein Roast Chicken Pasta. As the item is not vegetarian, we have not included it in this review.
