Let's peek into the box

All out of the box!

Sacla's Reduced Fat Basil Pesto - £2.50

We (especially daughter) are a great fan of Sacla's pesto and pasta sauces, whenever on offers, I bulk buy and keep it for her to take. So, as usual, I reserved this bottle for her too. This vegan pesto has 30% less fat than their regular pesto and no added salt or sugar. To make it healthier and vegan replaces the cheese with tofu.

Explore Cuisine Organic Chickpea Fusilli – £3

This organic, vegan and gluten-free pasta was a hit in the family, no one realised until I told them that these are not normal pasta. This pasta is made from plant-based protein and fibre. A good product to use when you are on a LOW GI diet.

Deli Kitchen Folded Brioche Flatbreads – £1.25

As soon as I saw two packets, first I checked the ingredients. I was so glad to read that these are eggless. I used in a recipe instead of tacos and we loved these folded brioche flatbreads, they were simply amazing. I have already bought twice after finishing these two packs :)

Appy Kids Co – Whole Milk – £1.00

We have stopped using whole milk in our house unless a recipe that can't do without whole milk. But my daughter who loves whole milk gets cravings for it and she was quick to grab all of them :) Perfect for kids lunch box or picnic.

Clearspring – Organic Seaveg Crispies Turmeric Multi-pack – £2.59

I got so excited seeing these nori crispies because I love using nori in my cooking. However, I didn't fancy as somehow nori with turmeric was not the right flavour together, also they were bit oily too. I would stick to plain nori crisps and not buy again.

Choc Chick Quinoa Pops and Plantain Bites – £1.85

These were so delicious, chocolaty snacks which are vegan and made from quinoa and plantain. Loved the taste and wouldn't mind buying it again.

Orangina Original – £1.30

Ah, this was delicious as the taste was so refreshing. Soft, sparkle and with real citrus pulp. Perfect on its own or mix it in making cocktails or mocktails. This soft drink is vegan and suitable for a Gluten-free diet.

There were a couple of non-veg products in the box like Bebeto Watermelon Jelly Gums – £0.50 and
Snaffling Pig Pork Crackling Low & Slow BBQ/Perfectly Salted – £0.75. We did not try them, therefore, no review.

Being a Deguatsabox brand ambassador I get to try all the products (including variation from alcohol/ non-alcohol boxes and products that are only included in some variations of the box), unlike regular subscribers who will receive either one or the other. I received vegetarian and non-vegetarian and alcoholic drinks in this box, but being a Hindu vegetarian I do not consume any egg, meat or fish products.
