Got hold of this bright red and crunchy cabbage from my recent trip to PYO farm. Red cabbage is Brit's one of winter favourite vegetable.
Amazingly versatile, colourful. Looks beautiful on the plate and palate. I've been using red cabbage since long time. I use it in salad, make slaw and Sambharo.
Sambharo is nothing but just a spicy stir fry or warm salad. In my house I prepare sambharo with many vegetables, whenever I make Kathol ( any kind of Beans Curry ) as side dish.
Any kind of sambharo is our favourite, quick and so easy to prepare. A whole load of healthy , crunchy and wholesome treat.
Apples and cabbage are natural partners. In this recipe both ingredients are present but with a twist, I have given Indian flavour and they mingle perfectly !! If you can't get hold of red cabbage and still want to try out sambharo recipe try Raw Papaya, Cabbage and Carrot sambharo, Beetroot, Carrot, White radish and Mixed seeds sambharo and Carrot Sambharo .
