Eggless Corn flour/Cornmeal and Cocoa Nankhatai/Cookies

Hello readers,

Sorry friends today I am heading straight to my recipe,  made on my son's birthday upon his request..I am confident you'll like this recipe...



Delectable, melt in mouth and crinkly spiced and cocoa cookies, one is not enough for you !



You will need:- Spiced Cookies
  • 500 g Plain flour
  • 50g Chickpea flour
  • 70g corn flour ( not corn starch )
  • 220g caster sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 400g ghee - room temperature
  • 2-3 tbsp almond and saffron masala

Method:-
In a big bowl beat the ghee and sugar until fluffy. Now add all the Flours, baking powder and ground spices. Bind into a dough. Pre-heat the oven to gas mark 4-5 and make small balls and flatten slightly. Place on a greased line baking tray..Leave enough space between them. Bake in a pre-heated oven about 15-16 minutes. Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack...And enjoy as much as my son did.....

  • 4-5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar to dust
