Mother's Day without my Mum...............

In memory of my mother

Mrs. Chandrakanta Sumerya
29th May1949-28th August 2009

You were a precious gift from God above,

so much beauty, grace and love.

You touched our hearts in so many ways,

your smile so bright even on the bad days.

You heard God's whisper calling you home,

you didn't want to go and leave us alone.

You loved us so much, you held on tight,

till all the stregnth was gone and you could no longer fight.

He had called your name twice before,

you knew you couldn't make him wait anymore.

So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away,

knowing that with our love we will be together again some day.
Mary Estelle

As a flickering candle in the wind yourlight was extinguished leaving us in the night of ignorance and confusion...Our world is colder and smaller now as we reflect upon those happy times when anything was possible because mum was there...

All the today's and all the tomorrow's won't add up to one yesterday...So we would like to say, to the mum we knew and the one we shall never know, wherever you are or whoever you became, we beg your forgiveness and wish you peace mum...
.............always loved you and will untill my last breath................

Could not but help being touched by your poem about Mom. They rightly say that Mother and Motherland are greater than heaven. I am sure that she is blessing you from wherever she is and wishes you to be Happy in your Life.
