Minty Paratha

Went to shopping on New Years Eve, people were buying food like there is no tomorrow!!!! well i was one of them.... lady in front of me said she has been waiting at the till past 25 minutes for her turn to come!!!  I bought fresh mint in a bargain, some I froze  and left1 bunch for making some mint paratha and tea.
I have made minty parathas in the past, used quite a lot of mint and they were too strong, so this time i used mint sparingly.....

Ingrediants

  1. 2 cup chappati flour
  2. 2 tbsp oil
  3. 2-3 green chillies
  4. 18-20 mint leaves
  5. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  6. salt to taste
  7. 3-4 tsp lemon juice
  8. water
  9. more oil to fry

Method:-

Crush all the ingrediants except flour in a grinder and add to flour, knead semi- stiff dough adding water, leave it to rest about 15-20 minutes.  Roll out round with some flour and cook on the tava appling oil.  There you go your Minty Parathas ready in no time...  Great with any curry, pickle and tea.

I enjoyed mine with TOMATO CHUTNEY

Try  sometime this new flavour paratha...you won't regret.
