Chilli Paneer

Anything made out of paneer, tastes lovely whether it is savoury or sweet... in my house paneer goes really well. Most of the time i do keep paneer in my fridge. I always look out for new paneer recipes, although CHILLI PANEER is our all time favourite!!!!!!!!!!!, this time i have made slight change making this one to give more spiciness to it.........
CHILLI PANEER
Required Ingredients
  1. 500 gms. paneer cubs(Indian cottage cheese)
  2. 2 medium capsicum(I prefer green one)
  3. 8-10 Fresh green chillies chopped any length you prefer
  4. 1 small onion chopped
  5. 2-3 spring onion chopped
  6. 2 tsp ginger- garlic paste
  7. Salt to your taste
  8. 2tbsp plain flour
  9. 1tbsp corn flour paste(mix with cold water and add one or two chopped green chillies)
  10. 3-4 tbsp soy sauce
  11. 1-2 tbsp red chilli sauce
  12. 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  13. 10-12 tbsp oil for shallow fry
METHOD:-
Marinate the paneer with ginger-garlic paste,2tsp soy sauce and chilli sauce, don't add salt this time. Leave it about 1/2 hour. sprinkle plain flour for coating so paneer doesn't stick to a pan. In a non stick pan add oil, when it is hot fry the paneer till it's get brown. Take out the paneer, in the same pan add onion fry just 1-2 minutes, add chillies and capsicum let it cook just few seconds and add salt, say sauce(left over) and black pepper powder now add fried paneer. Mix it well and add corn flour paste and mix it once more. Garnish with shredded lettuce and spring onion. Enjoy hot!!!!!!!!!!
Making chilli paneer this way the colour comes out nice brown than red or orange, we like it this way.........
Do try it and give me feed back
Thanks
Jagruti

The greatest good you can do for another, is not just share your riches, but reveal to them their own.
